from the Live Show!

Bernie (Bernadette) (50’s) and Mallory met in
kindergarten. Funky, feisty, and brilliant without a lot of common sense, Bernie provides legal counsel
for Merryville USA®.

Gabby Nelson (20/30’s), Merryville
USA®‘s sweet librarian and town historian. Gabby still lives right next to her overbearing
mother and dresses like a little girl but she longs to break out and become her own woman.
Nellie Nelson (60/70’s) Aunt Candy’s best friend, Mallory’s neighbor and
Gabby’s domineering mother. She keeps a sharp eye on the goings on in Merryville
USA® and shares her opinions freely.

Austin Kelly (20/30’s) Dr. Bo’s son from a first
marriage has rebounded to live in Mal and Bo’s carriage house while he finds himself. He works
construction by day, flirts with any available gal and performs bad poetry for anyone who will listen.

Mayor Mallory Kelley (50’s) grew up in
Merryville USA®. She LOVES her town and her constituents. Whatever her town, family,
or friends require of her, Mallory meets the challenge and succeeds, most of the time, through a mixture
of humor, smarts, and gratitude for being given a second-chance at this wonderful life.

Vice Mayor Amber Lee
Petrovsky, (30’s) Vice-Mayor and advocate for change in Merryville
USA®, plays hardball against Mallory’s slow-pitch management of the town. Amber’s
many private agendas drive her ambition. Her hidden soft spots may be her undoing.

The Blonde Minions: Brunhilda and Tanya (20’s to
50’s) Amber’s biggest (and best looking) supporters. Brunhilda is Tanya’s mentor and seeks
to mold her in her own image but Tanya may have other ideas.

Paloma & Ericks: Paloma (30/40’s) heart
belongs to her animals, but she saves some love for husband Erick. Paloma owns The Poof and
Poodle hair salon and cafe where you and your dog can get a treat while you both get your hair
done. Her heart often overrides her business head.
Erick (30/40’s), Paloma’s loving husband, is Sheriff of Merryville
USA® and a former Navy Seal. He’s an uber competent law and order guy who’s patience
is often taxed as he polices the unique citizens of Merryville USA® and butts heads
with his older sister Mallory.

The Police Station We love our officers!

Damien Whittle (30’s to 60’s), handsome
and hard-nosed land developer, has big plans for Merryville USA®. Will Amber fall
for his risky-frisky behavior? His plans for their future may change Merryville USA®
forever.

Aunt Candy (Candice) (60/70’s) serves
as Mallory’s maternal sounding board. She owns “The Everything Café and Bar.” Candice, younger sister of
Mallory’s deceased mother, is Mallory’s only living relative.

The Humane Society Furry friends guide town characters and teach
“pawerful” lessons to all. A love story between feuding neighbors’ pooches, Hamlet and Queenie, brings
two houses “both alike in dignity” to a common ground of granddogchildren shared affection. Another
furry constituent, at first a stray, saves a Merryville USA® citizen and brings warmth back
to a heart not accustomed to love, and finds a forever home.

Henry, alias “Poopenstein,” (60/70’s) resident
Einstein-like curmudgeon makes a lot of noise about town problems. His own story of loss may portend
changes to Merryville USA®‘s way of life.

Lincoln (40’s to 60’s) directs the town theater.
He’s written a musical Mortgage, which is his hope for a return to Broadway. Lincoln teaches at
the high school, and he’s always ready to put on a show. He and Bernie are an item.
